Who am I?
I considered for a while what would be the most appropriate answer to this particular question. An early thought was "I'm Tom Yeates, who the hell are you?!" but it turned out through extensive market research that this was "too antagonistic" and the Top Brass (ie. my brain) decided I should focus on a more "human" message and see how that went...
So the next attempt went more like "An interesting question, simple on the surface but I notice how cleverly layered it is. I am Tom Yeates, certainly, but I am also a human being. Aren't we all human beings? Therefore, are we all the same? Does individuality exist? Or is it a government construct, used to keep our minds occupied..." - As you can see, this tangent proved to be a complete waste of time. So once again the Top Brass stepped in to steer me in a new direction. This new direction led me to say:
Hello! I'm Tom Yeates. I'm 24, I live in the UK. You may remember me from...wait...no...you won't remember me from anything really...unless you play EVE Online (in which case you might have read something I wrote under the name "YoMma") or World of Warcraft...or you like...happen to know me in real life, which means you know me and won't gain much from this whole "About Me" section...Which takes me swiftly back to my point...
Tom, 24, British. Wears glasses. Likes games. Likes writing. Likes a good novel. Listens to a lot of music. Has opinions on a range of topics. Thought he would make a site where he could post general ramblings, "witticisms" and miscellany.
A pleasure to meet you too!
